Very solid option. Rooms were clean / nice and beds comfortable. Docked slightly for the pillows - super squishy so you needed like 3.
Very pleased with our stay here over Thanksgiving. The staff was excellent and took care of us very well! Rated room as four stars due to the heater not working but the staff addressed the issue immediately (on Thanksgiving Day, mind you) and to our complete satisfaction. Will stay here again the next time I am visiting Grinnell!
I honestly have no complaints, staff was super friendly, very helpful, everything in the room worked well, it was clean, no issues, check out was a breeze check in was a breeze Thanks for the wonderful service.
The reception staff were so kind. The lady that checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The lady that worked in the evening went above and beyond by walking me to my car with an umbrella during a downpour. My room was clean and quiet! I also felt safe here which is important to me when I’m traveling alone. I will be staying here again!
Our room was on the first floor, close to the lobby. Surprisingly, it was very quiet even with a birthday party going on three doors down. The pool and hot tub were great and I truly enjoyed spending time on the front porch in the rocking chairs, even with the crazy winds outside. The room was clean and even with no maid service (they did our trash and towels exchange), it was nice. Upon check-in, they gave us a list of local restaurants, with some recommendations...that was super helpful, not being from the area. I would definitely recommend stopping a night or two at this location!
Hotel was clean, well stocked and comfortable. What made my stay fabulous was the kindness and support of Shelly Carnes at the front desk. She consistently went out of her way to make sure my family and I were well taken care of. Thank you Shelly!
We stayed 4 nights for the NASCAR races. Room was clean, well stocked and comfortable. The front desk manager Becky (please correct me if I have the incorrect name) was truly AMAZING! Would definitely stay again!
Great! Clean room, temperature was perfect and controllable, comfortable bed, very good breakfast and enough to start the day (hot and cold options that didn't make our stomachs hurt). Best part however, the service! I wish I caught the gentleman's name on Friday July 18th LATE night. He was so kind and hospitable from the moment I walked in the door. I could barely see straight from being tired and honestly lost my key before I hit the room. SO embarrassing! Not one side eye or chuckle from him, just a new key and kindness. (Still didn't find it btw) I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
